WPD vs. WFD: 7th annual Guns & Hoses charity ice hockey game

The Wilmington Fire Department and Wilmington Police Departments will square off Saturday, March 16 for the annual Guns and Hoses charity ice hockey game.

The Wilmington Police Department and Wilmington Fire Department will face off in a friendly competition on the ice as part of the annual Guns and Hoses charity hockey game.

At this point, the series stands tied at three wins for each department. Who will come away with the victory this year? You’ll have to head to the Wilmington Ice House Saturday, March 16 to catch the action.

The doors open at 4 p.m. and the puck drops at 4:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. They can be purchased at WFD or WPD Headquarters, Wilmington Ice House, and ACCESS of Wilmington.

All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit ACCESS of Wilmington’s The Miracle League.┬áThe nonprofit organization aimed to improve the health, wellness and quality of life of people of all ages living with disabilities in southeastern North Carolina.
