Fermental, a popular bottle shop/beer garden in Wilmington has been recognized as the Best Beer Bar in North Carolina by the Brewers Association website, crafter.com as part of their annual “Great American Beer Bars” list.

Every year, the Brewers Association asks its readers to vote for their favorite local beer bars in their area. “Beer bars recognized as Great American Beer Bars were selected by popular votes and asked to provide information on their beer bars to confirm their intent to be listed,” the Brewers Association said in a press release.

Over 6,000 votes were cast during the voting period which was December 13 – January 6.

“Fermental is honored to be a major component of the craft beer movement in our state,” Fermental said. “Fermental owners and staff work hard at what we do, and this national recognition is a pretty big deal for us and the Wilmington area. We are beyond thankful for everyone’s support over the past seven years. We wouldn’t be here without you and our beloved beer community.”
