WILMINGTON, N.C. (CAPE FEAR WEEKEND) -
Bitty & Beau’s Coffee, the North Carolina-based company that reinvented the coffee experience, will soon open another shop at nCino’s World Headquarters. Named after their 2 children with Down syndrome, the brand was first launched by the Wright family in 2016 to change the way people see people with disabilities -- especially in the workplace.
“80% of people with disabilities don’t have jobs -- and we’re out to change that. Not just by providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities, but by showing our guests what’s possible,” said co-founder Amy Wright.
“If business is about anything, it’s about innovation,” said co-founder Ben Wright. “We are constantly striving to innovate our systems and processes around people with disabilities and we take great pride in partnering with nCino whose commitment to innovation has made it the world leader in cloud banking.”
“At nCino, one of our core values is Respect Each Other,” said Pierre Naudé, CEO of nCino. “We love Bitty & Beau’s not only because they have great coffee, but because of their mission to help people with disabilities become more valued and respected in their communities.
Like Bitty & Beau’s, nCino was also founded in Wilmington, and we are excited to partner with another local business and be home to their newest location. We can’t wait to start our mornings with Bitty & Beau’s.”
