Wilmington NC Beaches

If you are looking for something fun to do in Wilmington, there is no shortage of opportunities. There are so many different beach locations to choose from when you visit North Carolina. Each spot has different parking options that you can benefit from.

Wrightsville Beach Parking

As much as it may be needed, free parking in Wrightsville is few and far in between. The only free parking that is available in these areas is for hotels and their guests. If you want to risk your car getting towed, you can try to park in these spots.

However, it is much safer to use the cheaper parking in these areas. These locations start at $5 an hour or $25 per day. Here are some of the streets with these cheap options:

• East & West Salisbury Street
• Ocean’s View
• South Lumina
• North Lumina

Carolina Beach Parking

Depending on the time that you are planning on visiting, you can find a lot of free parking here. Carolina Beach offers free parking from October 31 to March 1. If you come during the other months, you can use the Parking Mobile app.

There are also two parking lots that offer visitors two hours of free parking. These are located on Cape Fear Street and C.B. Lake Park.

Kure Beach Parking

Though there are limited options for free parking near Kure Beach, there are plenty of cheap parking options. The services are easy to use through the Premium Parking app. Cheap parking locations near Kure Beach include:

• I Avenue
• 118 N 3rd Street
• G Avenue
• 199 N Third Street
• 121 Atlantic Avenue

Beach Parking Tips

When it comes to beach parking, you can never be too prepared or too early. The early bird gets the parking lot, or so they say. Keep in mind that you can get fined if you don’t follow the regulations for the area.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

• Park only in designated areas
• No glass or fires allowed on beach areas
• Dogs must have a leash at all times
• Littering is prohibited
