The South's Grandest Christmas Show at Alabama Theatre doesn't happen over night! It takes months of planning, days of stage prep, and weeks of practice.

The South’s Grandest Christmas Show at the Alabama Theatre is a tradition that many families have enjoyed since the 1990’s.  Although the show has been around for over 25 years, it still takes a lot to prepare.

From changing the stage over in a few days, to music preparation months in advance, the show doesn’t come together over night.  We caught up with music director Tim Powell on what it takes to get ready for showtime.  Come along with us to find out.

Once you see the show for yourself, you’ll easily see why it takes nearly an entire year to get ready for Christmas at the Alabama Theatre.  The show offers everything from your favorite classic songs, to high end costumes, you might even see the big man himself.  There is truly something for everyone.  You won’t leave the theater without being in the Christmas spirit!
