Wilson Center – Drive-In Concert: Liquid Pleasure

Surface parking lot behind the Wilson Center | 7 p.m. | Details

  • Tickets for this event range from $59.39 – $61.69 per Carload including fees and sales tax. This will be an in-car event, with limited amplified sound and the concert will be broadcast via short-range FM radio transmission, so you can enjoy the show in your comfy car, with that sweet, sweet stereo you added. In order to enjoy the concert experience, it is recommended that ticket purchasers arrive in a vehicle equipped with a tunable FM receiver.

Comedy Showcase in the Park

Thalian Hall/Innis Park | 7 p.m. | Details

The “Shack Bleeds Red” Firefighters Auxiliary Fundraiser

  • Stop by Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar in Surf City this Friday for a fundraiser to benefit the Surf City Firefighters Auxiliary. 50% of their food and beverage sales from 4-8 p.m. will be donated to the Surf City Firefighters Auxiliary. There will also be live music, 50/50 raffle, and giveaways.

Panic Attack Haunted Attraction

  • Panic Attack Haunted Attraction in Columbus County is open with COVID-19 safety precautions in place. In addition to working on the safety measures, they have also added a new portion to the attraction called Cut Throat Cove.

Curbside Cinema: Beetlejuice

  • The UNCW Office of the Arts are continuing their Curbside Cinema series with Beetlejuice this Friday. Parking begins at 7 p.m., movie starts at 8 p.m. and you must pay your admission in advanced ($28 per carload, plus tax and online fee).

  • The Pumpkin Patch will open this Saturday, October 17, 2020! The Patch will be open from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday thru Friday and 12:00 to 7:00PM Saturday and Sunday. They will remain open until the October 31, 2020 or until there are no pumpkins left.

2020 Wilmington Oktoberfest

High 5 Carolina Beach Fundraiser

Good Hops Brewing | 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.| Details

  • Come down to Good Hops Brewing to leave your mark to support The Carolina Beach Mural Project. This Saturday from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. leave a hand print that will be displayed at Good Hops Brewing. Admission is $5 per person and $10 per family (up to 4 members). There will also be live music, local food vendors, craft beer, raffles, and much more. Proceeds will go towards Mural Project’s and your support will allow them to add more murals and immortalize the history and uniqueness of Carolina Beach forever through public art.
