A new drive-in movie series is coming to the area and will feature films made in Wilmington and the surrounding Cape Fear region.
Starting September 17th, the Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts and the Wilson Center at CFCC will be hosting their drive-in series called Skyline Drive-In Movies on the top level of the Hanover Street Student Parking Deck in downtown Wilmington.
The first three movies of the series will be The Conjuring, Blue Velvet, and Firestarter.
Dates and screening times for the films are:
The Conjuring (rated R): Sept. 17, 19, 20 at 8 p.m.
Blue Velvet (rated R): Sept. 28, 29, 30 at 8 p.m.
Firestarter (rated R): Oct. 1, 3, 4 at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the movies are being sold exclusively through the Wilson Center’s Ticket Central box office. Since the Wilson Center has temporarily suspended in-person ticket sales, you may purchase tickets via telephone and through the venue’s website.
Capacity for the screenings will be limited to preserve sight lines. Tickets must be bought in advance. No walk-up tickets will be available.
Premium tickets are $40 per carload (plus taxes and fees). This will get you a preferred viewing location as well as a box of popcorn and a candy selection per person.
General tickets are $30 per carload (plus taxes & fees). This will get you general admission parking.
