The one where they all get back together.

A Friends reunion special is officially happening!

HBO Max, a new streaming service launching in May, announced Friday that the Friends cast will be reuniting exclusively for an untitled unscripted special.

“Series stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer will return to the iconic comedy’s original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank for a celebration of the beloved show,” Warner Media said. “The unscripted cast reunion special, along with all 236 episodes of the Emmy®-winning series, will be available to subscribers at the launch of HBO Max.”

The unscripted reunion special has been in the works for a little while now but apparently came to a standstill in late 2019 following tough negations on determining what the actors would be paid for appearing in the special.

According to Warner Media, Ben Winston will direct the special and will executive produce along with Friends executive producers, Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane.

We still have to wait a couple months until this special comes out, but in the meantime, in the words of Miss Chanandler Bong… “Could we BE anymore excited?!”
