The Annual Cape Fear Beer and Wine Festival

Over the recent years the Cape Fear has grown in many ways, and one of our favorites is the craft beer and winery culture. The explosion of breweries has turned our area into what some know as “Asheville East”, with 17 breweries and counting!

Since 2010 the Cape Fear Beer and Wine Festival has been a part of this tradition, and 2019 is no different! On Saturday, March 9, the 9th annual festival will take place at the Wilmington Convention Center. Patrons must be 21 and up, and will be able to enjoy over 100 beers, wines and liquors from over 60 different breweries and wineries.

Tickets are $40-$50 and include unlimited samples and a tasting cup. There will also be a DJ, silent auction, giveaways, and many other vendors aside from the breweries and wineries. (There is a $15 designated driver option for those that don’t want to partake in the drinking).

PIRATE DRESS IS ENCOURAGED.
