There’s a whole festival devoted to bacon and it’s happening this weekend

It seems as though there’s a festival for just about everything these days. And now, there’s one for bacon!

Happening this weekend, this 2 day festival will be the 2nd North Carolina Bacon Festival for the true bacon lovers out there.

According to the Facebook event, this year you can expect thousands of pounds of bacon, pig races, helicopter rides, vendors, inflatables, live music, a children’s pageant, and much more!

The festival will be held from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday the 28th and 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday the 29th.

Admission to the festival is $3 per person and children 10 and under get in free. However, vendors and activities will have their own various prices.

The festival will be held at Old Homestead Farm in Rocky Point.
